2011 San Diego Padres

Opening day has begun with the Padres beating the Cardinals in 11 innings as Albert Pujols becomes the first player to ground into 3 double plays on Opening Day.  While the Padres are in St. Louis, our PhD Committee is in San Diego enjoying America’s Finest City.  Tim Sullivan from the San Diego Union Tribune shares his thoughts about the 2011 Padres and Dave Matejczyk takes us to PETCO Park for a story we’ll never forget.  Ed interviews the Famous San Diego Chicken aka Ted Giannoulas and learns from the web feet of the man who forever changed our ball park experience. Grapefruit League 2011
