Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead, it’s all great for us.  Our PhD Committee is in the Capitol of the South – Atlanta.  Ed, Farley & Mark talk about those Braves, then we get some Baseball PhD culture.  Ernie Harwell was from Atlanta and Margaret Mitchell‘s paperboy.  First Ed interviews Joanna Arrieta from the Margaret Mitchell House as we  learn about Mitchell’s life and her greatest work, Gone With The Wind. Ed then interviews Steve Klein from The King Center.  The podcast concludes as we say good bye to Atlanta and hello to the highest ballpark in the Majors – Coors Field in Denver.

The podcast concludes with another outstanding segment of 100 Places to See.  Then we cross the border and head to the Capitol of the South – Atlanta for our next podcast.

Our PhD Committee is in the Capitol of the South Atlanta.  Ed, Farley and Mark explore Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead.  Ed shares a story about Atlantic Station and relives the 1995 World Series with Bill Ballew from chop-n-change.com.  Ed then boldly predicts who will be the Bravos new manager in 2011.  The Wise Guys battle it out over Braves history while Baseball Bob (the smartest man we know) throws out his trivia question of the podcast.  Our PhD Committee says good bye to Atlanta and after 31 episodes heads home to their beautiful wives and adorable children.  Next stop – the Rock and Roll Capitol of the World.  Cleveland Rocks!
