Ed, Farley and Mark are in the Mile High City checking out beautiful Coors Field, the Colorado Rockies and thin air!  Ed then interviews Lloyd Johnson, former executive director for The Society of American Baseball Research.  Lloyd walks Ed around the Field of Legends display at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.  Ed then interviews William Atkinson about his beloved Rockies.  Our PhD committee then fuels up the van for the West Coast.  First stop, the Big A. California here we come!

Kansas City Royals

We are in the City of Fountains focusing on the Kansas City Royals and beautiful Kauffman Stadium. Harry S. Truman Library, World War I Museum and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum are great sites to see.  Ed then reports from Omaha about the College World Series.  Byron Motley gives us insight about his dad’s career as an umpire in the Negro League.  Our PhD Committee concludes the podcast with a good bye to Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha and a hello to our next destination, The Mile High CityDenver.
